It’s truly inspiring to see Professor Lord Mensah take on this significant role in Ghana’s Local Government Service. His academic background and expertise in financial policy and economic reform are impressive, and I’m confident he’ll bring valuable insights to the position. Engineer Debrah’s comments highlight how this appointment could inspire professionals in various sectors, particularly in local governance and engineering. It’s refreshing to see such emphasis on ethical leadership and collaboration across disciplines. However, I wonder how Prof. Mensah plans to address the challenges in local governance that require urgent attention, such as resource allocation and service delivery in rural areas. Do you think his academic approach will translate effectively into practical solutions on the ground? Also, what specific strategies does he have in mind to foster sustainable growth and infrastructure development? I’d love to hear more about his vision for this role.
