Lady Nyamekye crowned champion of Star Kids Africa talented kids show 2025

The Eusbett International Conference Center in Sunyani was the epicenter of excitement on Sunday, October 19, 2025, as 10-year-old Lady Nyamekye emerged victorious in the grand finale of the Star Kids Africa Talented Kids Show 2025.

After 13 weeks of electrifying performances, Lady Nyamekye captured the hearts of judges and audiences alike with her unmatched talent, creativity, and confidence. Her consistent brilliance throughout the competition led her to claim the coveted title of this year’s champion.

Nyamekye stood out as the most decorated contestant of the season, earning an impressive eight gold medals — including accolades for Best Performer, Best Costume, and Most Voted Contestant. Her extraordinary run earned her the title of Overall Most Awarded Contestant, a true testament to her hard work and remarkable talent.

As the ultimate winner, she was awarded a grand prize of GHC 15,000 along with an all-expense-paid trip to Singapore — a significant milestone in her budding career.

Floberta the Poet was named 1st runner-up and received GHC 10,000, while Jason took the 2nd runner-up position with a prize of GHC 7,000.

Enthusiastic audience

The finale drew a crowd of over 4,000 enthusiastic attendees and was honored by the presence of high-profile dignitaries, including Vincent Antwi Agyei, the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive; Seid Mubarak, MP for Sunyani East as well as the Deputy Bono Regional Director of Education; and the Regional Youth Employment Director.

Adding cultural richness to the celebration, traditional leaders from Odumase No.1, Asufufu, Baakoniaba, Kintampo, Dormaa, and Drobo were also in attendance.

A spectacular performance by Stargyal Afronitaaa and the Afro Star Kids Academy Dance Crew lit up the stage, infusing the night with energy and unforgettable artistry.

The 2025 edition of the Star Kids Africa Talented Kids Show wasn’t just a competition — it was a vibrant celebration of youth, creativity, and the boundless potential of African talent.
